Summary
Our day-to-day dealing with the practical elements of life can eclipse the reason for which we do it. If what we want is merely to survive and have a comfortable life, then we don’t need a spiritual path. But many of us find this is not enough, that we want a sense of meaning behind all the doing.
So, we seek out a spiritual path. But in order for this sincere desire to truly transform us and open us to greater understanding, it cannot be taken on as another “project” to be completed. It needs to become our principal endeavor in order for us to have any hope of knowing who and what we are, for living a true life.
For this we need to continue to practice, to be true and dedicated and curious, to work through anything that might be obstructing our freedom and our knowledge of the nature of reality.
