What attracted you to the Diamond Approach?:

My first exposure to the Diamond Approach came with the discovery, online, of a chapter from Diamond Heart, Book One: Elements of the Real in Man. After many years of seeking I knew not what – only that there were many more possibilities for a human life and consciousness than was glimpsed by my family of origin or the world in which I lived – I knew I had found my true spiritual home. I was moved by the depth and expanse of the teaching, even though I could not have known at the time the fullness of what that meant. It felt unusually generous. The emphasis was on acknowledging our immediate experience and allowing whatever arises to take its place in our consciousness. It was this attitude of allowing, of acceptance, and of welcoming that opened – and continues to open -- deeper knowledge of possibility and potential at all levels of experience. Without it being said, I intuited that nothing of Reality was excluded from the teaching or from our experience, nor was there a sense of preferencing any one aspect of Reality over another. Having come from a world in which judgment and preference seemed to argue with some aspect of Reality at every moment, a teaching that included anything that might arise brought a sense of exhilaration and expansion.
