What have you learned as a result of studying the Diamond Approach?:

I have learned that there is no end to what can be discovered and realized when one is in authentic experience. In every moment our experience is perfectly situated to reveal whatever is needed for further liberation and truth. A human being's experience is a gateway to understanding what is real and true in life and even beyond ourselves. We always have the possibility to meet the moment just as we are, and with the methods and practices used in the Diamond Approach, we can discover who and what we truly are.

What would you like your potential students to know about you as a teacher of the Diamond Approach?:

I am currently teaching in the NW region of North America. Beginning in the summer of 2025, we have been forming a new DA group: Cascadia 5. It is the fifth generation of groups in this area. I will be one of the lead teachers along with Anne Hoff. I am happy to talk with anyone who is interested in the Diamond Approach. Please feel free to contact me if you feel moved to do so.

What attracted you to the Diamond Approach?:

What attracted me to the Diamond Approach was its relevancy and applicability to my life. This is a contemporary path that utilizes Western psychology and spiritual traditions. I found the Diamond Path aligned with what I already knew to be true: you can trust your own direct experience, and the Diamond Approach offers skillful ways to clarify the distortions in one's understandings of reality. I also respected that this was a path grounded in the real world as well as centered in one's truth. When I entered the Diamond Approach, I felt supported and free to explore my inner landscape and how this relates to the physical world. I love that!

What is most important for people to understand about the Diamond Approach?:

One of the most important elements of this path is to be where you are, just as you are. The question is, how to be where you are? This path addresses this in an in-depth way. And if you love what is real and feel a longing for the truth, this path aligns with that desire in many profound ways.
