September 15 - September 16, 2018
10:00 am - 05:45 pm
Berkeley, California

The newest Bay Area Diamond Approach group - Diamond Heart 10 (DH10), invites all those interested in learning more about the Diamond Approach spiritual path, to attend up to three consecutive 2018 DH10 meetings. Attending these meetings offers you a direct experience of the Diamond Approach teachings and methods while exploring if joining DH10 as a regular member is right for you.

Compassion and The Way of Truth

“So what is the relationship between hurt, truth and compassion? Compassion is a kind of healing agent that helps us tolerate the hurt of seeing the truth. The point of compassion is not to eliminate suffering, but to lead a person to the truth so that she will be able to live the life of truth.” - A. H. Almaas

In this weekend we explore how the essential aspect of Compassion, enables us to be with the truth of our experience arising most explicitly when we are encountering painful challenges. Compassionately being with our pain leads us to the essential aspect of Truth. Together, these two aspects of Compassion (Green) and Truth (Gold) create a transformational doorway ushering in our openness to the unfolding realization of our deepest nature.

The weekend teachings are supported by the Diamond Approach practices of inquiry, body sensing and meditations. Together we explore the deeper truths and treasures often hidden inside our pain, helping us live the and embody the life of Truth.

All are invited to join DH10 teachers Bob Duchmann, Nancee Sobonya and the recently added DH10 teacher, Karen Johnson who is the co-founder of the Diamond Approach.

We welcome you to join us for this very important journey of discovery at the heart of expansion and the essential life.

The day is divided into two equal segments that feature guided meditations, introductions of the practices of the Diamond Approach and teachings of the Diamond Approach method and cosmology. There will also be related experiential exercises and time for your questions and comments. Each meeting stands on its own and you are welcome to attend 3 consecutive meetings in 2018.

This weekend is open to all – no prior experience required.
