06:30 pm - 08:30 pm
Upper-Midwest Diamond Approach teachers, Jim Lockridge, Kara Vangen, and Kathleen Graham, invite you to an online series titled, "Exploring the Inner Critic". We will explore 6 fundamental ways the inner critic impacts both our daily life and our inner journey.
The inner critic is the greatest barrier to our spiritual development yet this often harsh and self-negating inner voice is so near to us and so familiar that we take its view to be the Truth. It is the source of much suffering.
Through lecture, meditation and with the sacred practice of inquiry we can begin to recognize and deal directly with the inner critic from a variety of perspectives. We can become aware of how it impacts the peace and compassion of our inner nature as well as impedes our source of inner strength, and true will. We will explore how to regain access and engage these qualities of inner nature as tools to directly confront the inner critic.
Sessions will take place every other Thursday. See schedule below.
Please consider also joining Diamond Approach Teacher, Timothy Bernhard, in a book study and exploration of Soul Without Shame: A Guide to Liberating Yourself from the Judge, written by Diamond Approach teacher. On alternating Thursdays, Timothy will cover the chapters corresponding to the Upper Midwest Diamond Approach series, “Exploring the Inner Critic”
