This is where Curiosity, as an instrument of Delight, and the music of the Heart meet.
Curiosity is a natural, sacred impulse of pure Joy and Delight. It is a sweet invitation, coming directly from the heart, to discover whatever is real and true in each moment.
This weekend is an opportunity to turn inward and explore your experience through the lens of the teaching of the Diamond Approach.
Curiosity can wake us up, with lightness and laughter, or by suddenly being caught up and tossed in a new direction. It can surprise us like a flame from a spark of deep potential that was hidden away and forgotten in our history. Curiosity is the unexpected. It opens us to a sense of freshness in our unfolding experience that is, as yet, unknown.
This spark of potential burns in each of us.
In this weekend, we will meditate, inquire with curiosity into our experience, attune to our hearts’ desire through music and through inner sensing. And we will let the aliveness of curiosity naturally take us into the truth of the moment arising.
An essential, heartful ingredient that fuels a life-long spiritual path - that is Curiosity.
The Diamond Approach is one such path. As in most Diamond Approach extended retreats, this weekend will include a meditation, a teaching, an exercise in breakout rooms, and time for questions and comments. We will explore this natural, inner, heartful territory gently, with respect for ourselves and for others; and hold it with understanding for how we may be uncovering tender experiences that need room to be felt and savoured with a sense of inner and outer safety. Your guide is Jean Berwick, a seasoned student and teacher of the Diamond Approach for over 35 years. Based in Colorado, USA, she is also a member of the Australian teaching team and a Founder and Elder of Diamond Approach Australia.
As a fundraising event for Diamond Approach Australia (a registered charity), this retreat is offered on a specially discounted sliding scale. Each level is reduced, allowing your participation to both benefit you and support the organisation’s ongoing work.
