REAL RELATING
Diamond Approach Florida, an open group, welcomes new participants to this online teaching weekend on April 22-23. All are welcome! There will be talks evoking our depth, meditation, and personal inquiry exploration.
How do we relate in a real way? We all look to be real in how we relate to other people, our work, and the world. But through our early childhood relationship with our primary caretakers, our Soul becomes structured into a self-representation. This sense of who we take ourselves to be is primarily formed in relationship with our mothering figure. The 3rd part of this object relationship is the emotional affect between the child and mothering figure, such as love, anger, fear or desire.
This early object relationship is a filter from the past that overlays how we relate. By exploring and understanding our object relations, we can see how we are restricted in relating in our lives and how we may become freer and more real.
TEACHERS:
Ilene Buchalter, a Diamond Approach teacher since 2002, works with groups and individuals living in Florida, Colorado, the Southeast, the U.S., and internationally.
Ursula McCall, a Diamond Approach teacher since 2015, works with groups and individuals living in Florida, Hawaii, and internationally.
