What is the relationship between our Soul and Essence?
The Soul, our individual consciousness, is what changes and develops on our inner journey.
Essence, the ground of our Being, manifests as particular essential qualities. Essential qualities don’t change or develop. Each essential quality is an is-ness.
Real love is always love. True strength is always strength. Real peace is always peace, and true compassion is always compassion.
Our Soul transforms as she recognizes and experiences the essential qualities as her essential nature. This in turn allows us to lead a freer and more real life.
