The Diamond Approach is a modern-day spiritual path. Although we have countless deep and vast teachings about the nature of consciousness and living a real human life, our method of exploration is surprisingly simple. You don't need to read anything or prepare in some way or buy special accessories. All you need is to be open to and interested in your immediate experience. As a teaching, we take seriously the punchline of enlightenment, namely, that all forms and expressions are one and unified. Given this, there's no need to aim at anything on the spiritual path. Our central practice of inquiry utilizes this wisdom by valuing our ordinary experience. The ordinary is the way to the extraordinary-- -we just have to look with openness and curiosity.
Engaging in inquiry can be an adventure. It can open us to places in our consciousness that have been long hidden. During this weekend, we will introduce the method of inquiry we use in the Diamond Approach and use this practice to explore what it means to live a real life. What does it mean to live from an open and compassionate place? What does it mean to be interested and curious about our experience? And what gets in the way of us being fully curious, open and compassionate? Inquiry supports us to dive deep into our consciousness to find out.
