DAMA_2026_02_14

February 14, 2026
10:00 am - 01:00 pm

As humans, we naturally move towards pleasure and away from pain. Our inner journey often begins when avoiding our suffering no longer works, and we seek out other ways to “fix” it, heal it, or make it go away. But the suffering of our heart has a wisdom to share with us, if we are willing to listen. The heart is an exquisitely sensitive organ that can open to a gentle, kind, and loving compassion. Compassion makes it possible for us to be with our suffering instead of trying to run away from it. When we can be intimate with the pain of our own hearts, the true source of our suffering begins to reveal itself: our suffering is caused by our disconnection from the truth of our inner nature. Only by reconnecting to what is true and real in ourselves can our pain dissolve and become the simple, sensitive, and kind attunement of our essential nature.

While this zoom session is open to all, it is in service of the development of a new in-person group in the greater Boston area.
