This two-part workshop explores the origin, effect, and tenacity of the inner critic, or super-ego – the part of our personality that judges, compares and criticizes and ultimately keeps us feeling small and trapped. As we come to understand where this comes from and its original purpose, we can learn ways to disarm it, disengage from it, and free up the constrained energy, expansion, and power of the life force that is our birthright.
Each day of the workshop stands on its own. Together they reinforce the understanding of how to liberate ourselves from this tenacious and constricting force in our lives. The workshop includes meditation, short talks, and experiential learning and exploration. Join us for one or both days!

TEACHERS
Stephanie Kenen has been a student of the Diamond Approach since 1996, and a Teacher since 2016. She works with private students and has taught in groups located in Boston, Connecticut, and Eastern Canada. She lives with her husband, senior dog and rowdy kitties outside of Boston.
Monique Morimoto has been a student of the Diamond Approach since 2007 and a Teacher since 2021. She works with private students, is an assistant teacher in groups in NY and Philadelphia, and is excited about beginning a new DA group based in Massachusetts. When she is not teaching you can find her gardening, hiking and enjoying nature in central MA where she lives with her partner.
