Nobody has to look far these days to see things that evoke anger! Regardless of political, or sexual orientation, we don’t even have to go out that far to recognize that it does not take much for most of us to feel angry about someone or something.

The graphic video of George Floyd losing speech, pleading for breath and falling unconscious while a police officer calmly knelt on his neck led people around the world to feel intense shock and outrage. In the widespread protests that followed, Americans expressed their collective anger, channeled into action for justice and reform.

Why is this happening now? George Floyd was not the first person to experience this outrageous treatment? What is anger, where does it come from and where does it go?

We will explore in a personal way how we experience and relate to anger. How does it show up in our lives – or how does it not? What else can be seen about it? Join us for this important exploration into anger.

Please bring a small towel for a short exercise.  The event is free and open to the public.
