These recordings are a prerequisite for attendance eligibility at the 2024 November Training Retreat with Hameed. (Registrations for the 2024 November retreat will open at the end of July, 2024. The cost for the 2024 retreat will be $600 and includes all overhead fees.) If you are unsure whether you attended or purchased the recordings of the 2009 retreat prior, please contact Linda and she will let you know. If you are unsure whether you are eligible for this, please check with the lead teacher of your home group before purchasing. Your access to the recordings will be removed if you are not eligible and you will not be refunded once you have had access to the recordings and there are no refunds. Please note that you are not eligible to purchase these recordings or attend the 2024 November retreat unless you have had the teachings on the Absolute. If you are in a group that would otherwise be eligible to attend, but you haven't received the teachings on the Absolute, you may inquire with your private teacher and your lead teacher to see whether these teachings will be beneficial to you at this time.
Please be aware that these recordings do not include the original Q&C sessions for privacy reasons.
As an added support for thsoe who may not have easy access to inquiry partners, we will offer a series of hosted Zoom inquiry times where you can be paired with other students to do the exercises. There is no additional charge for this and you are free to attend as often as you like. These sessions will be start at 11 AM Pacific time on Tuesdays and Thursdays and at 5 PM on Mondays and Wednesdays in September and October. The full schedule is posted on the page with the recordings. Be sure to listen to each talk before joining an inquiry session as there will be no re-play of the talk in the group setting.
About these recordings from Hameed:
As the teaching moves further into the 4th and 5th turning, it is important we get a complete understanding and experience of the earlier turnings. The 3rd turning is pivotal for entering the 4th and 5th turning. The upcoming November Retreat brings more completion to the teaching of the 3rd turning, by revealing the kind of experiences and forms of TN that arise within the Freedom Vehicle. We see the Crystal, the Freedom Vehicle, as the inner body that replaces the soul as our lasting inner body. Knowing it well helps integrate it and make it a station for our realization.
Hameed also recommends reading chapter 5 in Diamond Heart, book V as a preparation for this required makeup retreat on the Freedom Crystal from 2009.

The 2024 November retreat will be an in-depth teaching on the Freedom Vehicle and the Vajra Body. This will include new teachings which Hameed has not yet taught in earlier retreats. A prerequisite, for both teachers and students to attend, is to have listened to the recordings from the 2009 teacher training retreat on the Freedom Crystal unless you were at that retreat or have done it already. We’re informing you now to give you sufficient time to listen to and make up this retreat before November. If you have already done this retreat, you are already eligible to attend this year’s retreat. Registrations for the 2024 November retreat will start this summer, but you can purchase the Freedom Crystal retreat now.
About the Freedom Crystal retreat:
The Crystal Teachers Retreat, which is required for attending this November Retreat, focuses on the encounter with the freedom vehicle, which turns out to be some kind of a crystal structure. The Crystal Retreat includes teachings about featureless nothing, the particular emptiness for this vehicle. And the question of freedom; what it means and its direct experience. The retreat also includes teachings on the relation of soul and crystal, and the realization of the crystal. Also, the kind of issues and patterns that are challenged in working with featureless nothing and the transition from the absolute to the crystal.
About the 2024 November retreat:
This November Retreat will focus on the innerness of the crystal, not its experience and what emerges out of it. So it is about the arising of different diamond and crystal structures within the crystal. These are new and specific to the crystal. Not related to the other diamond vehicles. The teaching that arises from these inner forms that arise within the crystal are instrumental in transforming the character of the person. When character features limit realization and freedom, they are challenged by these inner forms of the crystal, leading to the dissolution of remnant soul fragments that embody such character features.
COST
The cost for the 2009 Freedom Crystal retreat recordings is $475. Hameed offers a $150 tuition discounts for:
(1) students 70 and older on limited, fixed incomes who need some financial help;
(2) teachers-in-training in current official seminary training programs who are experiencing financial hardship due to their ongoing training;
(3) newly ordained teachers of 3 years or less (ordained after March 2021) experiencing financial hardship due to their ongoing training.

We are trying to lessen the financial burden of two retreats for those who need help and will offer a couple of work trade opportunities for experienced Zoom hosts.
