NYADA_2021_5_15

May 15 - May 17, 2021
10:00 am - 09:00 pm

Our fundamental nature is not conditioned by our history, and is beyond what our minds can imagine.

When we begin a genuine path of discovering this for ourselves, however, the first difficulty we often encounter is completely a product of our history. This is the “inner judge,” the voice that never leaves us alone, that is always evaluating us, criticizing us, telling us what kind of person we should be, and comparing us to others who seem “better."

The inner judge keeps us locked into a familiar sense of who we are, and prevents our discovery of our deepest potentials. Spiritual work, therefore, involves seeing the profound limitations of this frame of reference, and learning how to disengage from it.

This weekend teaching on the Diamond Approach understanding of this process will be a support for us to recognize, identify, and begin to separate from the grip of this pattern, so we can be free to follow our desire to know our deepest nature.
