Our physical birth and psychological development are familiar to everyone. Most of us learn how to function in the world, how to have a job, make friends, support ourselves. But we don’t recognize that it’s possible to continue to grow and mature beyond these accomplishments.
We’ve become distant from the richness and beauty of our inner nature. We don’t know how to have contact with what is most real in us – and others. We miss the spiritual nature of our being, our essential nature.
At some point, we start to long for something more real and fulfilling than the familiar. We don’t know what it means to become a person that’s not defined by our personal history. We long to access something more substantial than our familiar way of experiencing life. And this is the beginning of our spiritual birth.
Please join us as we continue our exploration of the journey to becoming a person of Being rather than a person of our history.
