07:00 pm - 01:30 pm
Chester, Connecticut
We are born with an inner need to connect with others, to experience some kind of loving union. We’re also born with a need to individuate and become the absolutely unique person that we are. This tension creates fertile ground for a resolution that allows for the fulfillment of both these deeply human impulses.
On the egoic or psychological level, we might worry about being swallowed up by too much closeness or intimacy. Or we feel concerned about being alone and isolated if we become too autonomous.
But on the level of our essential nature and the deep truth of our humanness, there isn’t an actual conflict. How can this be? How can we be a distinct, autonomous individual and not lose closeness and love? How can we have real love and not lose our individuality?
Please join us as we continue our exploration of the journey to know the closeness of love and the freedom to be ourselves.
