an introductory weekend for deepening practice

What is moving our hearts? What is our heart’s desire? What am I taking to my heart? What comes from the bottom of my heart? And what makes our hearts grow wings?

Our heart is the central organ of our soul’s experience.

The heart can leap for joy, bleed with sadness, tremble with rage, bend with pain, and sink with fear. It can overflow with love, and it can bring loving kindness to how we live our everyday lives. Our hearts can set off on journeys of interest and curiosity exploring inner and outer universes. It can be a compass and source of orientation in our quest for truth and depth. We can encounter, with compassion, iron bands keeping our hearts from shattering apart with sadness and pain. And in the truth of its nature our courageous hearts can bring us dynamism and vigor.

The heart of Ridhwan practice is open-ended inquiry. What exactly am I experiencing in this very moment? What is true? What is real for me? What is the deeper truth of what is appearing? In this weekend the heart with its different facets will be the focus of our explorations. Supported by sound and mindful body movements we want to attune our souls and bodies to the realm of our hearts. Based on several chapters from the book “Spacecruiser Inquiry“ by A. H. Almaas we will explore the curious, the compassionate, and the courageous heart.

The heart is the feeling capacity of the soul, the soul’s capacity to know intimately.
