Thursday Evening Introduction to the Diamond Approach
There is a conventional view of life that we all tend to live through. It is a view of things and ourselves that is shaped by our history and conditioning. Because it is a view that is filtered through conditioning and history, it is a view that is not alive, fresh, and open. This conventional view obstructs the space needed for the spiritual journey.
If we don’t see the ways we are shaped by this conventional view of reality that is more like an image than something real, any experiences of inner freedom will remain only as momentary, peak experiences. However, we can wake up in such as way that we actually have space to see our conventional view for what it is. Only then can we be open to discover reality in a truly fresh way.
If you are new to the Diamond Approach and want to get a taste of the teaching, join us for this evening meeting. This is the first meeting of our December Retreat, and will include a meditation, a talk, an experiential exploration, and a time for questions and discussion. After attending this meeting, you may choose to register for and participate in the rest of the December retreat.
If you have registration questions, please contact Carrie O'Brien.
