Showing Up For Challenging Times

We are living in very challenging times. As our world moves towards even greater uncertainty, the difficult feelings that arise in us can become strong, deep sources of frustration and discouragement. In the Diamond Approach we see every emotion and our entire experience as sacred. Through this Work we develop a capacity to be fully present with whatever emerges, in a direct and intimate way. Join us for an experiential afternoon with Diamond Approach Toronto's senior teacher, Thomas Weinberg. Together, we will begin the journey of showing up for challenging times. This workshop will also be an opportunity to learn more about Diamond Approach Toronto's ongoing group. You may attend this teaching in person in Toronto or attend live online from any location through Zoom. The sessions will be 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. in the Eastern Time zone.

Teacher

Thomas Weinberg lives in Maui and has been a student of the Diamond Approach since 1987. He has been involved in teaching and training teachers for 15 years. He is currently the founder and senior teacher of Diamond Verite Canada, a group based in Toronto, Canada. His professional background includes a PhD. in Psychology, as well as further post-graduate training with Elizabeth Kubler-Ross and others, focusing on the area of transformational therapy. After leading two groups in Hawaii, in 2006 Thomas introduced this work to Eastern Canada by forming the Diamond Approach Toronto group. That same year the Ridhwan School appointed him Tracking Director for the New York Region's Teacher Training Program. He is also one of the instructors at the school's East Coast Regional Seminary. Thomas imbues his teachings with heart, humour and clarity. These qualities shine through in his ability to create the kind of supportive container fundamental to deep, personal exploration. When not on an airplane, Thomas can be found at this home in Maui and more than likely, in the ocean.
