Growing Up... or Just Growing Old?: A Diamond Approach Seminar

The process of spiritual development, which is the maturation of the human being, can be divided into two complementary facets. One is the realization of presence in its various aspects and manifestations, and the other is the integration of this realization in the everyday life of a human person.

When the soul develops without dealing with its immature parts, the development is not balanced. This usually leads to strange behaviors and attitudes. There is no real maturity here. The only way for the soul to move towards true maturity is by coming to terms with its soulchild in a genuine way.

The soul then grows as a whole with balance and grace. The soul, our individual consciousness, is much more than the soulchild. However, the soul does not grow when we do not deal with this immature part because we tend to identify with this soulchild and believe it is the totality of us.

In this weekend we will explore the process of maturation that happens through the understanding and integration of the Soulchild Structure at the core of the Ego.

The Diamond Approach is a path of wisdom through direct experience. It recognizes the uniqueness of each individual and adapts itself to each person's needs at the time. It does not require that people adapt to some ideal, but welcomes people as they are and helps them to take the natural next step for their unique development.
