Washington, D. C. - New Group

Our upcoming meeting February 3-5, 2017 is open to the public. Our work includes teachings, meditations, movement, inquiry and discussion. New students are welcome to join the group and if unfamiliar with the Diamond Approach, may attend a session free of charge on the evening of Friday February 3.  DADC2 meets three times per year in weekend format in the Washington metropolitan area. Our schedule for weekends is: Friday 7p-9:30p, Saturday 10-5:30, Sunday 10-1, plus small group on either Saturday night or Sunday afternoon (student’s choice). We have a summer residential retreat once a year in Madison, VA, from Tuesday evening at 6p through Sunday at 1p. We also have interim teachings between meetings which students can download on MP3. Tuition for each weekend is $240 and the residential retreat is approximately $1050 (tuition, room & board). There are also (to date) four inquiry groups in Baltimore, MD, Falls Church, VA, Charlottesville, VA and an online group for remote students. These meetings are held by group members and occur approximately once a month. There is no fee and attendance is optional. February 3-5, 2017 will be DADC2’s last meeting open to the general public. After February, we will have a limited number of openings for new students. Our group has been meeting four times a year since 2013. In order to attend a future meeting, a prospective student must have some familiarity with the Diamond Approach (or A.H.Almaas’ books). An interview with the teachers will also be required prior to attending. Transfer students or those who are already in another group and wish to join a second are always welcome. A few times a year, we hold day-long introductory workshops in the DC metro area which are open to the public.
