Introductory Description:

After more than two decades in the Diamond Approach I find myself engaged more intimately in everyday life. The lines between practice and living life are blurred and I don't keep them separate. There is a richness to life and I'm drawn to share whatever I can with others. I've had a rich life with raising two children, a career in high tech, and enjoying the outdoors. I've been active all of my life and it still brings me a lot of pleasure to swim and hike or even just enjoy the wind and a sunset. I'm called to share this teaching because I've seen it transform people's live and make life more rich for those who are touched by the teaching.

What have you learned as a result of studying the Diamond Approach?:

My life has been transformed in many ways. The most obvious is that I am not easily hurt by the actions or words of others. The other significant impact of this inner work is a profound sense of freedom and a consistent sense of connection to myself. The feeling of freedom arises when I sense the presence itself acting through me as an expression of various qualities of True Nature. When I'm directly in contact with this presence, there is complete trust that whatever is needed in the moment will arise. I feel free to flow with it - whether it be an expression of love or compassion, or a forceful expression when firmness or assertiveness is needed.

What would you like your potential students to know about you as a teacher of the Diamond Approach?:

My spiritual path has included in-depth study in many other traditions, which allows me to understand multiple perspectives and relate well to students who come from other disciplines. I have been especially influenced by the Hindu tradition and its devotional orientation. My studies and opened my heart and I bring a sense of warmth and kindness to my students as well as deep inner peace. I have visited India numerous times and have a real fondness for the many holy sites and sages in India. I was raised in the Catholic tradition. After shunning Christianity in my early adulthood, I have taken toward Christian mysticism in recent years. I have also been influenced by teachers from Tibetan Buddhism, Sufism, Sikhism, and the Course in Miracles.

I bring personalness and heart to my students along with precision and clarity to guide the student’s process of unfoldment.

What attracted you to the Diamond Approach?:

I learned about the Diamond Approach from one of my yoga students (I was a yoga teacher in the 1990’s). He had been in the Diamond Approach for more than two decades when I met him and I could sense his inner peace. When he told me about how inquiry is used to open up one's experience and how the Diamond Approach had made it easy for him to work through psychological blocks, I was immediately very interested. I started reading books from A.H. Almaas and could tell this path would be a great fit for me. So, I joined the school as soon as I could find an open group.
